Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts concerning the rental of guest rooms by Pension Oase to private and business travellers.

By making a booking, the guest accepts these Terms and Conditions as binding.

Any terms and conditions of the guest that differ from these Terms and Conditions shall apply only if Pension Oase has expressly agreed to them in writing.

The booked room may not be transferred or sublet to third parties without the prior consent of Pension Oase.

Reservations may be made through the Pension Oase website, by telephone or by email.

The accommodation contract is formed only once Pension Oase has confirmed the booking.

The following information in particular is required for a booking:

• first and last name,
• address,
• postal code and place of residence,
• telephone number or email address,
• arrival and departure dates,
• number of guests.

The guest confirms that all information provided is complete and accurate.

Pension Oase undertakes to provide the guest with the booked room for the agreed period.

The scope of the booked services is set out in the booking confirmation.

The guest is not entitled to a particular room. If necessary for operational reasons, Pension Oase reserves the right to provide an equivalent room.

The prices agreed at the time of booking apply.

All prices include statutory VAT where it is required by law.

Payment is generally due upon arrival.

The following payment methods are available:

• cash,
• debit card (EC card),
• credit card.

Pension Oase reserves the right to request advance payment where there is a justified reason.

A cancellation must be made in text form (for example, by email).

The following cancellation terms apply:

• A booking may be cancelled free of charge up to 14 days before the agreed arrival date.
• If the booking is cancelled within 14 days before arrival, 100% of the agreed total price will be charged.
• In the event of a no-show or early departure, there is no entitlement to a refund of amounts already charged or paid.

The guest may provide evidence that Pension Oase suffered no loss or a substantially smaller loss.

Rooms are available from 2:00 pm on the day of arrival.

Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 am at the latest on the day of departure.

Earlier check-ins or later check-outs may be arranged in advance, subject to availability.

The accommodation may be used only by the persons named in the booking.

Visitors or additional overnight guests require the prior consent of Pension Oase.

The guest undertakes to treat the room and all furnishings with care.

Any damage or defects must be reported immediately.

When leaving the room, windows must be closed and electrical appliances switched off.

Out of consideration for all guests, quiet hours apply daily from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Excessive noise, parties and other disruptive behaviour are prohibited.

Instructions given by staff must be followed.

In the event of serious breaches of the house rules, Pension Oase may terminate the accommodation contract with immediate effect.

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas of Pension Oase.

In the event of a breach, the guest may be charged all costs of any necessary special cleaning, as well as any additional damage or loss of use incurred.

The guest is liable for all damage caused intentionally or negligently by the guest or any accompanying traveller.

This includes, in particular, damage to furnishings, lost keys and exceptional soiling.

The liability of Pension Oase is governed by the applicable statutory provisions.

Pension Oase is liable for damage only in cases of intent or gross negligence, unless otherwise required by law.

The statutory provisions of sections 701 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB) apply to property brought onto the premises.

Valuables should not be left unattended in the room.

Personal data is processed exclusively for handling the booking and performing the accommodation contract.

Under section 312g(2)(9) of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no statutory right of withdrawal for contracts concerning accommodation services for a specific period.

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies exclusively.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes wholly or partly invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by the applicable statutory provisions.
